Playback

The Art Effect function is only applicable to still images with different artistic effect.

Edited images in this function are saved as a new file.

To activate Art Effect:

1. Press the Playback button on the camera.

2. Press the 4 or 6 keys to scroll and select an image to edit.

3. Press the Menu button to launch the Playback menu.

4. Select Art Effect. The Art Effect submenu appears.

5. Press the 4 or 6 keys to scroll and select an option. As you move through

the selection, the preview on the LCD monitor changes synchronously.

The succeeding table shows the available settings.

NOTE

• Every time when launching the submenu, the cursor is located on “Off”.

Art Effect

Icon Item Description

Off No effect is added to the image.

Negative Image appears to be the opposite of the original image.

Mosaic Image is applied with mosaic tiles.

Astral Image is applied with starburst.

Miniature

Effect

The parts of image will be blurred and make the scene

looks like a miniature scale model. Shooting downwards

from a high angle is recommended to better simulate the

miniature effect.

Painting Image is applied with watercolor effect.

Sketch Image is applied with pencil sketch effect.
