Stepless auto shutter speed control with metered

electronically. Stay informed at all times: Unique LED integrated

right next to the release button. Flash at sync speeds up to

1/1000 sec in conjunction with special Metz flash units. Use flash

creatively: Flash unit can also be triggered by the second curtain

The LEICA M6 has a combined rangefinder

and viewfinder with brightline frames. It has mechanically

controlled shutter and selective through the lens exposure

metering. Subject cropping is controlled through the view finder.

Viewfinder magnification is the same for all lenses. The M6 has

shutter speeds from 1 sec. to 1/1000 sec. and “B”, parallax

compensation and delineates the subject area covered by the

corresponding lens. The difference between fields covered by the

viewfinder and by the respective lens is corrected automatically.
