New (Second) Version Diagnostic Program will be supplied together with this second edition

(version 1) Service Manual.

“CPROG Rev. 0.40 for JX-537” in above old display will be changed for

“CPROG Rev. 0.50 for JX-537” concerning new (second) version diagnostic program as shown

below.

RAM special R/W TEST is added to this new program as shown to the next page.

It is impossible to check all memory areas in RAM (D-RAM) using this TEST.

If any symptoms which seem to caused due to abnormal RAM function (e.g. data error message

display, frequent lock, and so on) appear, check the unit using this TEST.

Be sure to save the data to PC or Compact Flash Memory Card before this check because FULL

RESET must be performed to stop this check.

Performing this RAM TEST, it is impossible to resume checks described in the previous item (7-3.

Operation Check).
