Using the Serial Cable (20-pin)
You can use the serial cable to connect the CASSIOPEIA directly to your computer.
Important
See Required System Configuration on page 48 for the computer system that is
required for direct serial connection.
Be sure to turn off the CASSIOPEIA and your computer before connecting the
CASSIOPEIA.
The illustration below is just one possible connection configuration. The location and
layout of serial ports vary from computer to computer. See the documentation that
comes with your computer for full details on connecting cables to it.
You must have ActiveSync installed on your computer in order to exchange data with
the CASSIOPEIA over a serial connection. See the Pocket PC Users Guide for
information on installing and using ActiveSync.
Connect the CASSIOPEIA to your computer as shown in the illustration below.
Using the CASSIOPEIA USB Cable
You can use the CASSIOPEIA USB cable to connect the CASSIOPEIA directly to a
computer.
Important
