Changing the Background Music
You can change from the built-in background music that plays
when you execute “Effect” to other backgrou nd music.
Supported File
File Types: IMA ADPCM format WAV files
Sampling Frequencies: 22.05 kHz/44.1 kHz
Audio: monaural
Number of Files: 9
File names: SSBGM001.WAV to SSBGM009.WAV
Store the music files on your computer using the above
names.
IMPORTANT!
Regardless of which effect pattern is selected, the
background music is looped.
Depending on the BGM file format, some background
music data may not be playable.
Transferring Background Music to the Camera
You can select background music after its file has been saved to
the memory card or the camera’s built in memory.
1. Connect the camera to your computer (pages
215, 231).
If you save a background music file to a memory card,
load the card into the camera.
2. Perform one of the following operations to
open the memory card or built-in memory.
Windows

Based on your operating system, perform one of the
following steps.
Windows XP users: Click “Start” and then “My
Computer”.
Windows Vista users: Click “Start” and then
“Computer”.
Windows 2000/Me/98SE/98 users: Double-click “My
Computer”.

Double-click “Removable Disk”.
Your computer recognizes the memory card loaded in
the camera (or built-in memory if there is no card) as a
removable disk.
Macintosh

Double-click the camera’s drive icon.
Your computer recognizes the memory card loaded in
the camera (or built-in memory if there is no card) as a
drive.
