Chapter 13 PV Applications and File Transfer
Installing a PV Application to your PV Unit
You install a PV Application on your PV Unit by downloading it from your
computer. Use the following procedure to download a PV Application from your
computer to your PV Unit.
Important!
• You must have File Transfer Manager installed on your computer in order to
download a PV Application from your computer to your PV Unit.
To download a PV Application to your PV Unit
1. Use the cable to connect the PV Unit to your computer.
• See the manual that comes with PC sync for Windows for details on
connecting to a computer and setting up for communication.
2. On the PV Unit, display the Mode Menu or the Action Menu.
3. Tap Menu Bar to display the menu bar, and then tap Option.
4. Tap Transfer file to put the PV Unit into receive standby.
5. On your computer, run the File Transfer Manager software, and download
the PV Application from your computer to your PV Unit.
