Working with account folders

Each account has an Inbox, Outbox, Sent, and Drafts folders.

Depending on the features supported by your account’s service

provider, you may have additional folders.

1. Open an account’s Inbox or another folder of messages.

2. Touch the Menu key M > Folders.

The account’s Folders screen opens, with a scrolling list of the

folders in the account. Touch a folder to view a list of the messages

it contains.

Green circles indicate the number

of unread messages in the folder.

Adding and editing email accounts

The first time you open Email, you are prompted to set up an email

account. After that, you can configure Email to send and receive

email from additional accounts. The accounts that you configure are

displayed in the Accounts screen.

The Email setup wizard helps you set up your account for many

popular email systems, including those based on IMAP and POP3,

so you can read and work with the same emails you have on a PC

in a web browser, or with another email application. If your service

provider requires additional settings, or if your service provider is

unknown to Email, you can enter the necessary details manually,
